Julie McLaughlin
AUTHOR
Julie McLaughlin has always found joy in connection— whether through movement, storytelling, or the simple magic of shared laughter. Her path led her to Courtney, a kindred spirit with a storyteller’s heart, and together they built a friendship rooted in adventure, creativity, and a belief in the power of kindness. Now, Julie co-operates Park Circle Yoga Studio in North Charleston, creating a space for community and growth, and cares for the tiniest dreamers as a devoted nanny. Through her work and writing, she hopes to inspire connection, courage, and a little everyday magic for children and families everywhere.

Coco Faz
AUTHOR
Coco Faz was raised by mischievous fairies in a sunlit glade, where she spent her days whispering secrets to the stars and uncovering the magic of storytelling. Her journey led her to Julie, a true princess with a heart full of light. Together, they tamed dragons, shared secrets beneath Charleston’s ancient oaks, and wandered cobblestone streets humming with enchantment. Now, Courtney resides in a cozy seaside cottage with her two spirited children and loyal furry companions. When she’s not dreaming up whimsical worlds with Julie, she explores her passion for acting and crafts stories that inspire hearts young and old. Courtney and Julie believe in the power of courage, kindness, and just enough magic to change the world.

Tami Boyce
ILLUSTRATOR
Tami Boyce is an illustrator with a whimsical style. “Drawing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I count myself as an extremely lucky individual because I have been able to make a career out of it. We all live in a very serious world, and I like to use my quirky style to remind us of the love, joy, and humor that is often overlooked around us.” When Tami is not working, you can probably find her traveling or eating cheese.
